Tim was born in Detroit, Michigan. Writing has always been a part of his life, as he loves to tell stories.
For Tim, writing is a welcome escape from his blue-collar life. Although he did not have much growing up, writing provided a powerful outlet for self- expression.
Tim recalls the advice from his brother Mike: “You start with a blank page, and you can fill it with anything you want.” For Tim, that is the essence of being a writer—you don’t need to be rich, famous, or athletic; all you need is imagination and the determination to put your ideas on paper.
